Description of the main activity
The new advocacy policy officer will be responsible for 1) maintenance of the stakeholder database (key contacts in PermReps, EP, European Commisison), supprot preparation of meeting briefings; 2) coordination of the campaign on Ukraine's EU membership, background research and preparation of visual materials (in cooperation with marketing team) to support the campaign; 3) outreach in the European Parliament and related stakeholders, monitoring of the political pre-election campaigns and positioning of European parties, coordination of meetings and engagements with EP stakeholders.
Specific qualifications and skills
Good analytical skills
Knowledge of EU institutional decision-making process and overall structure of EU institutions and bodies
Very good knowledge of political parties and key political developments in the EP
Strong network in the EP
Strong network in the Council and other EU institutions is an asset
Experience in advocacy AND campaigning/ public relations/communications
