Ukrainian Volunteers are about to lose their premises in Brussels However, you can change this.
This Dec 31st, we may lose the premises where today's Volunteer Coordination Center and our Ukrainian Cultural Center are located.
PROSTIR - Ukrainian Cultural Centre of Promote Ukraine
How it started
Promote Ukraine has been the voice of Ukrainians in the heart of Europe since 2014. It has been instrumental in bringing together people and organisations in Brussels after Russia’s full scale invasion.
At the same time, Promote Ukraine has been a key actor in the integration of thousands of Ukrainian displaced families during the greatest humanitarian crisis in Europe since WWII, providing incalculable benefit to Belgian Society, resulting in considerable cost-savings.
However, today, this work, that of more than 100 Ukrainian plus many other European volunteers, is at risk of disappearing.
This is what is about to be lost
Today, the essential work done delivered by more than 100 volunteers including dozens of teachers, educators, and psychologists, is at risk.
Promote Ukraine is losing its premises. These premises allow all our volunteers to cooperate and work together for a better Europe.
These premises allow our teachers to give an education to our kids. They allow our psychologists to provide psychological support to those who need it the most. This is what is about to be lost:
Promote Ukraine's Coordination Centre
Promote Ukraine's coordination center has been awarded EU Citizen Award 2022 by the EU Parliament.
This is the place from where our hardworking volunteers work every day towards a peaceful, beautiful, democratic, and sovereign Ukraine. In which Human Rights are respected, and European Values are preserved.
Some of the most significant Defence of Democracy events happening over the past few months were conceived in this very space
Cultural & Educational Center
The EU Parliament awarded the EU Citizen Award 2022 to Promote Ukraine’s coordination center.
From here our volunteers work intensively every day for a peaceful, beautiful, democratic, and sovereign Ukraine, in which Human Rights are respected, and European Values are preserved.
Some of the most significant Defence of Democracy events happening over the past few months were conceived in this very space.
UA IT School
A solid education in IT is critical to empower Ukrainian refugees to restart a new and dignified life in the EU and ultimately ultimately build a future within Europe.
Technology represents the door to new opportunities, opportunities that were closed due to the full-scale invasion.
The opportunity to access education, create, and to play an active role in the construction of a better future.
