Ukraine Leads

under the Patronage of the EESC President
Christa Schweng

Background of the forum

Ukrainian Civil Society embodies courage, dedication and persistence of the entire Ukrainian nation in its fight for Democracy, Freedom and Sovereignty.

It has been notoriously known for its forward-looking, visionary thinking and perpetual work in driving reforms in Ukraine, striving for a European, peaceful, and successful future for current and next generations of Ukrainians.

In 2022, however, this work has been put at risk, under the brutality of Russia's full-scale invasion.

Mother Motherland Monument in Kyiv

This has not been enough to stop the work done by Ukrainian Civil Society organizations that advocate for Ukrainian cause to the decisionmakers in their countries.

In view of the constant attacks against Ukrainian citizens, the intense work of Ukrainian activists in Brussels has exponentially increased their activities all along the EU, under unprecedented pressure, to the point of becoming the voice of Ukrainian Civil Society within the EU.

Promote Ukraine Hub

This Forum addresses this critical challenge:
The need for a coordinated, aligned and solid direction of all Ukrainian Civil Societies across Europe, under the close symbiosis with EU Institutions
